Idaho Department of Agriculture Inspected and Certified Garlic

Idaho has the most restrictive garlic seed requirements of anywhere in the USA.

In order to plant garlic cloves in the Idaho Allium Quarantine area the grower must document that all original seed was certified white-rot free and grown within the Quarantine area.

If the grower wishes to sell garlic seed within the quarantine area, an annual site visit by the Idaho Department of Agriculture must find all garlic grown on the premises white-rot free.

Only a handful of garlic seed producers in Idaho are certified to ship seed garlic within the Idaho Quarantine area. Sundries Farm is now officially inspected and certified by the Idaho Department of Agriculture to sell garlic seed within all of Idaho — and to all 50 states!
