This is enough garlic for an average family to use for a year, assuming two heads of garlic per week.  There is no guesswork with this package. It includes an assortment of the varieties Sundries Farm grows, from short-storing (eat first) to our longest-storing varieties.

Enjoy two (2) pounds of large-cloved Russian Red or Music, five (5) pounds of mixed culinary hardneck garlic, five (5) pounds of mixed culinary softneck garlic, and three (3) pounds of very long-storing Nootka Rose for a total of fifteen (15) pounds.

Each bag of garlic is marked with a "use by" date and numbered chronologically from the shortest storage time to the longest. We've made an effort to keep this process as straightforward as possible, allowing you to enjoy high-quality garlic for an entire year with minimal waste.

1. Russian Red/ Music: Use by November 2025

2. Mixed Hardneck Culinary (Chesnok Red, Persian Star): Use by Christmas 2025

3. Mixed Softneck Culinary  (Inchelium Red, Lorz Italian): Use by June 2026

4. Nootka Rose: Use by August 2026

Storage: Short-storing garlic, used within several weeks of receipt, can be kept on the kitchen counter, preferably in a garlic keeper.  Hang longer-storing varieties in the bags provided in a cool area, out of direct sunlight. A root cellar is ideal, but a room with a stable temperature will work. The key to storing garlic is maintaining cool temperatures and allowing the bulbs to breathe by using breathable bags or wire racks.
