This is a grab-bag mixture of the hard-neck garlic varieties Sundries Farm grows: Music & Chesnok Red. Same great garlic and the same great flavors!
They are not seconds; but simply bulbs that measure under 2 inches in diameter. Ideal for culinary purposes at a bargain price.
Shelf Life
- Chesnok Red: Up to six months from harvest, use by the end of December.
- Music: Up to 9 months from harvest, so use by March of the following year.
Requests for a specific variety can be made in the NOTES section during checkout. There are no guarantees on the varieties' ratios as they depend on available culinary stock.
2022 Note: Many of our culinary grade Chesnok Red bulbs are very large this year, just under or at two inches, and can be used as seeds. In this case, eating the small bulbs and planting the largest ones is best.
