Lorz Italian
Lorz Italian is an artichoke softneck garlic that is very flavorful and spicy. Large heads are up to 3" and contain numerous, easy-to-peel cloves. Lorz Italian is great for roasting or the bold, a hot kaboom when eaten raw. This variety is spicy, braids very well, and is long-storing.
Flavorful Lorz Italian garlic is often used in mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted. The bulbs are white with occasional purple and brown streaks.
Seed Grade: Bulbs over 2 inches
Shelf Life: Up to 9 months from harvest, so use by March of the following year.
Preferred Climate: Handles summer heat well. Grows well in Southern and warmer Northern states.
Yield: 60- 90 cloves per pound
